What it means to be global HR
Laura Viehmyer, former GOSHRM President and current SVP HR of DAI Corp International, (a company headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland) will present a program on Managing Global HR.
As many U.S. based companies are now acquiring or merging with international companies, domestic HR departments need to transform into global HR departments. The November Program, “What it means to be Global HR”, will guide the participants in the components, practices, policies and considerations required to be a global HR department in terms of recruiting, training, talent development, compensation, benefits, time-off, performance management and HRIS. The program will include discussions about various international labor laws, common practices and customs.
Registration Deadline: Friday, November 15 – 12:00 Noon.
Parking is included. Please let the attendee know you are attending the GOSHRM event.
